Anna is originally from Sunderland in the North East of England.
Before acting Anna began her working life behind the camera in TV production, working in Entertainment and Music TV inc Top of the Pops & Later with Jools Holland as well as live events such as Concert for Diana & Live Earth plus many music festivals. After taking a sabbatical from the production world, she went back to studying and trained at the acclaimed Oxford School of Drama.
Since graduating as a professional actress, she has worked across stage, screen and radio, enjoying a variety of roles ranging from a Shakespearean villain (RSC) to a WWI widow (BBC Drama), a manic depressive (Soho Theatre) to a hiccuping call-girl in Holby City (BBC) and worked with actor greats such as Michael Sheen, Hayley Mills, Stephen Tompkinson and Peter Mullan.
Anna's voiceover work has also greatly expanded after a global pandemic forced her to build her own small but perfectly formed recording booth from the comfort of her airing cupboard. For examples of recent work please click through to her voice reel page.
But not one to sit around Anna still works in Film & TV production as a producer and enjoys the happy/chaotic juggle between the two worlds.
